Marley has been adopted!
He has ‘super model’ long legs so when he plays, he’s all legs and elbows! He also has a very handsome overshot jaw, which is causing him no discomfort but has earned him the nickname ‘Shark Dog’! He’s the tall version of Tuna Melts My Heart!
Marley is a sweet dog, who has settled in well at his foster home with 2 other dogs and cuddles up with both humans and dogs alike! He is not fully house-trained yet but is doing the majority of his ‘business’ in the garden or on walks!
Marley has great fun on his walks; he’s been exploring Regents Canal, Hampstead Heath, Epping Forest and he’s even popped to Angel, Islington for a shopping trip! He walks nicely on the lead and on his new harness.
He loves nosing around new places and meeting people (and impolitely nosing around handbags if he gets the chance!) but can still be a little nervous at times (especially in busier, traffic-heavy areas) as we don’t think he got to experience much before he came to us.
Marley loves his soft toys, a fluffy sheep is his current favourite after he made a hole in his fluffy rugby ball! He would benefit from an owner who is experienced with dogs and has the time to continue with his basic training. Marley is a clever boy and picks up commands quickly so he’s eager to learn new tricks! He adores food and with the help of treats, has already started to pick up ‘sit’ and ‘lie down’!
He has been good with dogs when out and about and in the home, so could live with a calm female dog. We would prefer to find Marley a new home with direct access to a garden.
