Mavis has been adopted!
Meet Mavis. She’s a Chihuahua cross (probably a Terrier cross) who has come to us after she was found abandoned.
Mavis was nervous and scared in kennels, but is much happier in her foster home. She is looking for an experienced owner who has the time to build up her confidence. Mavis isn’t completely house trained, but is getting the hang of it quickly. She’s also learning how to “sit” and go to ‘bed’.
Mavis walks nicely on the lead and enjoys being out and about. Sadly, we don’t think that Mavis’s previous owner took her out much, so lots of things are new for her. But she is so much more relaxed now in her foster home!
Mavis can be left for a couple of hours on her own and will settle down happily. She loves her bed and lots of treats… but will also very happily steal your spot on the sofa! Mavis is also happy to be crated.
Mavis is looking for a quiet home, with children of 12 plus.
Mavis is ok with dogs when out and about but would prefer to be the only dog in her new home. She can’t live with cats. She has been meeting lots of different dogs while out on foster and her little tail was wagging lots!
