The Oliver Appeal

There has been a record number of dogs abandoned this Christmas and we have seen a huge increase in dogs being sold/traded online.

This is Oliver a 1-2 year old Pug, who was found abandoned and then picked up by the dog warden. After his 7 days were up, no one had come forward to take him home so he came to us to be looked after. He has found a foster home where his treatment has begun and he is receiving A LOT of TLC!

He is suffering from an extreme case of dermatitis and entropion, which is an abnormality of the eyelids in which the eyelid “rolls” inward. He is also malnourished and has clearly been severely neglected.

Oliver could live with children aged 12 years plus, as we think he would prefer a quieter home. He could share his home with the right calm female dog as he has been good with dogs when out and about!  We would prefer to rehome him within the M25 area so he can easily travel for any necessary treatment.

This is one of the worst cases of neglect that we have seen this year. But despite this, Oliver is trusting and loving. He just adores a lap to cuddle up in!

We have had lots of wonderful applications for Oliver, so are pleased to announce that he will be going to his new home at the beginning of 2016.
