Pippin

Meet Pippin, a beautiful Bearded Collie cross aged approximately 5 years old who is looking for his forever home after being found in a terrible state as a stray.

Pippin arrived at All Dogs Matter covered in matted hair, with broken teeth and caked in dirt. His matted hair was so severe that he had to be sedated to remove it – almost 3kgs of hair that must have caused him immense pain. We believe his teeth were broken from trying to get out a cage that he may have been kept in.

Pippin before

Despite his ordeal, Pippin has so much love to give and is an incredibly affectionate boy with humans and other dogs. With the care of our brilliant team, Pippin has been cleaned, groomed and has been treated at the Arc Veterinary Centre.

Pippin now

Pippin is now ready to find his forever home and is looking for a new owner ideally with Collie experience in a home in a semi-rural location with direct access to a garden. This energetic boy needs at least one and half hour’s exercise a day and as he doesn’t know any basic commands yet he will need an owner who can invest time in training him.

At the moment Pippin doesn’t like to be left on his own so will need to be in a home where someone is around for most of the day. As he is friendly and sociable with people and other dogs Pippin could possibly live with a calm female dog.

If you would like to adopt Pippin, please fill out a rehoming questionnaire. For questions or queries, please contact the office – 020 8341 3196 / info@alldogsmatter.co.uk
