Rufus has been adopted!
Meet Rufus! He’s a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who was been rescued from a puppy farm with his mum Nelly. Rufus and Nelly can go to a new home together or separately.
Rufus had never lived in a house before he went into his foster home. He can be quite nervous, but has started to get used to being around people. Rufus isn’t completely house trained, but his foster carer has said that he is nearly there! Rufus had never walked on a lead before he went into foster, but is starting to learn and to get excited about going out for a walk.
Rufus is looking for an owner who is familiar with ex breeding dogs and who has had dogs before. He can live with children of 12 plus.
Please note: Rufus must live with another dog in his new home. Most ex-breeding dogs need to live with a settled resident dog, as they will have lived most of live with dogs and are more comfortable with dogs than with people. Rufus isn’t cat friendly.
Rufus will need direct access to a garden in his new home.
