Meet Neptune, a lovely 4-year-old Greyhound who is looking for a home after being retired from racing.
Neptune is a tall, handsome boy with a gentle and affectionate nature. He enjoys being around people and loves a good fuss, but he also has a sensitive side. He can be a little lacking in confidence at the moment, so he will need a patient and understanding home that can help him build trust and feel secure as he settles in and begins to come out of his shell.
Alongside his sweet temperament, he can also be rather amusing and has a lovely character that is sure to make people smile.
He is good with other dogs when out and about but also enjoys his quiet time and relaxing. Like a typical Greyhound, he will enjoy a leisurely walk around the park followed by a long snooze on the sofa. He could be well suited to a first-time dog owner and will make a wonderful companion in the right home.
Neptune could possibly live with a similar sized dog in his new home and would like direct access to a garden.
As he has never lived in a house before, he will need some guidance and patience while he learns about home life, but with the right support he should settle in beautifully.
