Apollo’s story

Apollo, a beautiful golden oldie Spaniel, aged about 12 years, came to us after sadly being found as a stray. He was almost blind and deaf (due to his age) and a bit wobbly on his back legs. We started looking for his forever home while stayed in a lovely foster home with other dogs to keep him company.

Tragically after a visit to our vet Apollo was diagnosed with terminal cancer, with multiple tumours. His quality of life would have been poor, even with treatment, so we made the difficult decision to let this beautiful boy go. He passed away peacefully knowing he was loved in his final months.

Thanks to your support we can continue to be there for dogs like Apollo. RIP beautiful boy. ♥
