Appeal for our Frenchies

Sadly, we received three separate calls in November 2019 to take in female French Bulldogs who have all been exploited for breeding, severely neglected and then cruelly dumped. As it’s just five weeks to Christmas we believe that these dogs have all been used to produce litters of puppies for festive gifts with little regard for their welfare. We estimate the value of these poor pups is approximately £10,000. Tragically, all three mums now have no retail value.

Gloria

Gloria  arrived at All Dogs Matter in a terrible state and in need of urgent medical attention. Due to severe neglect, Gloria was extremely underweight and suffering from acute mange causing her pain and discomfort. After a trip to our vet and an examination we discovered that Gloria had had multiple litters before being abandoned. Despite what she has been through, she is a sweet and affectionate girl who enjoys the attention of humans. Following her treatment Gloria has now been rehomed with a loving family who enjoy spoiling this special girl.

Charlie

Charlie, a two year old French Bulldog cross, was handed over to All Dogs Matter by an individual who bought her online after discovering she’d been used multiple times for breeding. They wanted to give her a happy forever home but unfortunately this didn’t work out as she wasn’t accepted by other dogs in the home.

We believe Charlie had puppies shortly before being dumped, leaving her with droopy teats and extremely malnourished. Our kennel team took her to the vet for treatment and placed her with a loving foster home where she is enjoying walks and cuddles.

This intelligent girl who knows basic commands loves the company of humans but would prefer to be the only dog in the home. If you would like to give Charlie the home she deserves please complete a rehoming questionnaire here.

Lexy

Lexy came in to All Dogs Matter via the local Dog Warden and was still lactating after recently giving birth to pups. We believe she had had several litters before being dumped and is approximately three years
old.

This beautiful girl has received veterinary treatment and is currently in a loving foster home where she is recovering before she is ready to find her forever home.
