COVID-19 Update – May 2020
We are reviewing the situation daily and this post will be updated regularly.
Our aim remains to rescue and rehome dogs during these unprecedented times, however we have put some special measures into place to help stop the spread of the virus.
Our staff are working from home which means that calls and emails are not being responded to as quickly as usual, please bear with us.
We are limiting visits to our kennels and office to appointment only and giving special instructions to our staff and fosterers.
We have cancelled our fundraising events until further notice and closed our charity shop. This has led to a sizable drop in income and we thank those of you who have chosen to help us by donating online.
We have received record numbers of people offering to foster dogs, which is heartwarming and generous but unfortunately we will not be able to recruit everyone and we currently have enough fosterers giving happy homes to our dogs – as you can see from the picture of handsome Barney above.
As we are receiving a lot of emails and calls at the moment it may take us up to 72 hours to get back to you and we thank you for your understanding.
All our dogs are doing well and their wellbeing, along with that of our staff, remains our top priority.
