Arthur is a gentle and affectionate boy who has come into our care as a stray. He is currently underweight and understandably anxious, but despite this he remains very accepting of affection and enjoys quiet cuddles.
We believe that with the right support and patience, Arthur will thrive. He is looking for a foster home, ideally with a view to adoption, that understands he will need time and space to build his confidence and come out of his shell. Having been through a great deal, he will benefit from a calm and reassuring environment where he can feel safe and secure.
Arthur will require direct access to a secure garden. We would prefer a home without cats. While he may potentially be able to live with a calm female dog in the future, at this stage we feel he would benefit most from being the only dog in the home while he settles and gains confidence.
With consistent care, understanding and kindness, we are confident Arthur will truly blossom.
