Queenie’s Story

You may remember Sunny, previously called Queenie, who arrived with us in February of this year. She was a wonderful dog, but was a big bouncy puppy, and we really struggled to find her a home.

Statement on the ban of XL Bully breed

We believe that the solution is not banning more types. Instead, the government needs to focus on the improvement and enforcement of current breeding and dog control regulations, and on promoting responsible dog ownership and training.

Shivering, frightened and alone, poor Nutmeg wasn’t expecting anyone to come and help her. It is difficult to know how long she had been trapped in brambles on an industrial estate and even harder to know whether she was going to survive. When we got the call, from a kind passerby who had spotted her, we had to act fast.
