Christmas Newsletter
Welcome to our 2021 Christmas update.
Ernie’s story
Ernie, a 2-year-old Havanese mix came to us from our shelter partner in Egypt, which rescues unwanted dogs from the streets of Cairo.
Hattie’s story
This gorgeous one year old miniature Dachshund came to us after being picked up as a stray and was suffering from a severe case of demodex mange.
Tammy’s story
Sadly, we are seeing more dogs like Tammy, used multiple times for breeding, entering our doors.
Dora’s story
Sadly, we are seeing more dogs entering our doors with cropped ears, like the gorgeous Dora here.
Hugo’s story
Hugo, a 5-year-old French Bulldog, came into us from China, where he was rescued from the barbaric meat trade
Trigger’s story
Trigger is just one of the many beautiful Greyhounds we have taken in for rehoming after being retired from racing.
Tosca’s story
Tosca, a handsome 11-year-old Shar Pei cross arrived to us from Cyprus, where he had sadly spent most of his life in a cage. Could you offer this golden oldie the forever home he deserves?
Cherry Tree Woods Santa Paws
Thank you to everyone who came to our Santa Paws event on Cherry Tree Café on Sunday, you helped raise vital funds for our rescue dogs. There were so many beautiful Dogs in Jumpers that we couldn’t choose a winner – you are all winners to us!
End ear cropping
Sadly, we are seeing more dogs entering our doors with cropped ears. This cruel practice – which is illegal in England in Wales – is painful and unnecessary and on the rise.
