Shivering, frightened and alone, poor Nutmeg wasn’t expecting anyone to come and help her. It is difficult to know how long she had been trapped in brambles on an industrial estate and even harder to know whether she was going to survive. When we got the call, from a kind passerby who had spotted her, we had to act fast.

Sadly, we received three separate calls in November 2019 to take in female French Bulldogs who have all been exploited for breeding, severely neglected and then cruelly dumped. As it’s just five weeks to Christmas we believe that these dogs have all been used to produce litters of puppies for festive gifts with little regard…
Update on Lulu – saved from dog meat trade
We are absolutely delighted to report that lovely Lulu has found the best home ever with her two new dads in the Nottingham countryside.
